The topics in each area are specified in the knowledge profile of the Single National Exam of Medicine Knowledge (EUNACOM).

This test is performed based on the following areas:

  3. Request the person being evaluated to carry out procedures under the full supervision of the corresponding examiner.
  4. Application of the tests and evaluations that are considered necessary.

An oral interrogation is carried out, before an evaluation commission, which is made up of two or three examiners. The duration of this process is approximately 30 minutes.

This evaluation is done after the performance evaluation has been completed.

The score of the Single National Exam of Medicine Knowledge (EUNACOM) It is carried out as follows: The total score corresponds to the score obtained in the theoretical test, only if the practical test was approved.

In this case, it can be said that although the theoretical evaluation is evaluated based on a continuous score from 1 to 100, and 0.25% is discounted for each incorrect answer, the practical test is evaluated based on the terms passed or failed.

Once the evaluations corresponding to the theoretical and practical section have been submitted and they are approved and current, the Association of Faculties of Medicine of Chile (ASOFAMECH) will issue a EUNACOM Official Certificate of Approval, which accredits as a score obtained the result of the theoretical evaluation of the EUNACOM and the examinee will be granted permission to comply with the purposes of law 20.261.
