What is it?

The Phytosanitary certificate It is a requirement for the export of products of plant origin, issued in México by the National Service of Health, Safety and Food Quality (SENASICA) of the Secretariat of Agriculture, Livestock, Rural Development, Fisheries and Food (SAGARPA).

In accordance with the guidelines of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), Phytosanitary certificate must include the following data:

  12. Botanical name of plants.

When is a valid Phytosanitary certificate?

  • Illegible or incomplete document.
